The Deadline for the 2023/2024 POST-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE FOR UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS earlier scheduled for Friday October 6,2023 has now been shifted to Saturday, October 21,2023. Therefore eligible candidates can still register for the screening on or before Saturday, October 21.2023.

2023/2024 POST-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE FOR UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

The Federal University of Technology, Akure Nigeria online

ELIGIBILITY

Candidates who scored a minimum of 180 in the 2023 UTME conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the Direct Entry (DE) candidates who made the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) their First Choice Institution are eligible for the screening.

In addition, each candidate must possess at least five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings in O’ level examinations conducted by WAEC NECO and NABTEB or their equivalent.

2023/2024 POST-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE FOR UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS

ELIGIBILITY

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Candidates are required to:

Visit the University website (www.futa.edu.ng) for information;

Complete and submit the University Past-UTME Application Form online, and

Print out a copy of the Registration Form

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

The Registration Form is mandatory for all eligible candidates to complete for the screening exercise. Please note that the candidate’s UTME Registration Number and the Full names (as it is on JAMB slip) be correctly provided at the point of payment and registration.

After payment each candidate should visit the University website and complete the online Registration Form

SCREENING FEE

The screening fee is Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only payable at any Bank on Remita platform after generating the necessary Code

Candidates who fail to register before the deadline will be disqualified from the screening process.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the step-by-step guide for UTME and Direct Entry candidates to generate profile code and how they can purchase e-Pin for new and previously used phone number. ALERT! Previously Used Numbers for JAMB Registrations can only be re-used by the same Candidate (Not another candidate) A Previously Used Number is a GSM Telephone Number (SIM) used for Profile Code Creation, e-PIN Vending and Registration in Previous Registration Exercises. This can be used for the 2023 Registration ONLY BY THE SAME CANDIDATE. The Candidate who is using his/her previous number for the second or third time will use the same profile code to purchase the new e-PIN. If the Profile Code has been forgotten, the candidate can send RESEND to 55019 or 66019and he/she would recover the Old Profile Code. JAMB RELEASES 2024 UTME RESULT

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has released the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME results. Over 1.94 million candidates registered and sat the examination in 118 towns and over 700 centres across the country. The Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede announced the release of the results at a press conference held at the board’s headquarters, Bwari, in Abuja on Monday. The examination which began on Friday, 19th April ended on Monday, 29th April 2024. KWASU DEPUTY BURSAR DIES WATCHING NIGERIA AFCON SEMI-FINALS

The Deputy Bursar of Kwara State University Malete, Alhaji Ayuba Abdullahi, on Wednesday night, died while watching the semi-finals between Nigeria and South Africa in the ongoing AFCON. Nigeria won the match against South Africa by 4-2 goals on penalties after regulation and extra time ended 1-1. Sources close to the deceased but who spoke on condition of anonymity said Abdullahi went to a sports centre in the Sango area before he started feeling uneasy. One of the sources said, “The Deputy Bursar watched the Nigeria/South Africa match from the beginning till the end of the extra time, till it was time for a penalty kick.
